* For the next 100 days, for at least 30 minutes a day, I’ll be working on the first issue of my sexy, funny, action packed comic book The Blonde Marvel, which I hope to offer digitally and in print later this year. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
  • I finished inking Page 9. So I now have Pages 1 thru 9 and Page 12 inked. Don’t ask me why I inked Page 12 out of order, I just did, dammit! Don’t harsh my mellow! As far as Page 9 is concerned I can’t call it completely done because I have some work to do in Photoshop still. Not much. Then I have to send it off to be flatted, along with pages 7 and 8.
  • I posted Page 9 on Patreon by the way.
  • I went back to that damn script to see if I can get the page count down on the first issue. Right now it stands at 47 pages.  I’ve done stories that were upwards of 40 to 50 pages before but that was mainly because I’m normally a meandering and undisciplined storyteller. Most of those 40+ page stories should have been half that. This particular story is fairly lean and to the point, which makes cutting the page count very hard. I think I’ve come upon a compromise where I can end the issue at page 37 and the one plot point that gets cut will have to wait till issue 2.
