Here’s a drawing I did several months ago of Captain Tomorrow. I like to think that this was when he was an idealistic young adventurer, not the drunken lecher he later becomes. I’ve always envisioned him as a cross between Adam Strange and 1960′s Green Lantern. And I guess somehow, along the way, he became the misogynistic jerk we see in the current story.
I want to thank everyone who took a moment to vote in the latest poll. I was surprised to learn I had quite a few female readers. Although The Blonde Marvel obviously represents a sexual fantasy figure written from a male perspective, it’s my hope that everyone can enjoy the stories, regardless of gender.

And lets not forget that often only about 10% of the readers even notice a poll, much less actually vote on it.
There could be so much more of us.
.. doggies, I mean.

Yeah, that’s what I meant.
Some of us like to think of ourselves as super heroines in our daily lives since we often wear many hats, not just mom but dr mom and mom’s taxi and trophy wife and teacher if home schooling. Some of us see ourselves in BM’s place just to get away from the day in/day out of life. Would 007 be the male counterpart 4 men to live their fantasy lives in him perhaps? Or am I thinking old school and James Bond is in the past?
So nearly 7 times the male voters than females…..interesting. Shame I’m married…that means 4 every gal out here there are almost 7 guys to each one of us. mmmmm
